Alecia-Odenton & Columbia
Alecia has a Master's in Special Education where she had worked for the past few years. She is finding the four legged children much more receptive to learning than the emotionally disturbed kids she had been working with. She brings refreshing new energy to our team as a fellow runner, and has a focus on training and learning new tricks. She also is a local resident of Savage (near 32 adn rt 1) and after searching numerous doggy rescues she found Camden, her new member of her family!
Annette-Odenton & Piney OrchardI have been married for almost six years. We currently do not have any kids, well at least not the two legged kind! We are however the proud parents of four dogs. Yes I said four! Our first was Sully, a four year old Chihuhua. Then there's Maggie, a Lab/Shepard mix, who was diagnosed with epilepsy this past January but is currently doing great. Next is Kolia who is our 3 year old Sharpei/Lab mix. She acts like Paris Hilton, but makes a wonderful snuggling companion. She can be found most days lying on her favorite spot on our couch. The baby of the family is Dutch, a pit bull mix who was found abandoned in Baltimore City two years ago. He was in pretty bad shape when we got him and now he is a healthy, active and very talkative boy. He also makes a great running partner. I could never make it up some of those hills without him. Personally, I am preparing to take my Graduate Entrance Exam so I can start grad school in the spring. I also have a great passion for animal welfare causes. You can find my husband and I at the Baltimore Humane Society volunteering for the hikes with the shelter dogs on Wednesday nights. Giving your time at an animal shelter can be one of the most rewarding things to do and I highly recommend it.

Bridget- Columbia, MD
Hi I'm Bridget.I have loved animals for as long as I can remember! When I was in first grade I found a cat on the street who looked like he needed a home, so I gave him some food and let him stay in our garage in a box with some blankets. A few days later my parents found out that we now had a cat named Tiger! Since then my family and I have had one other cat, three dogs and an assortment of fish. Currently we have two loveable dogs, Dublin a three year old yellow lab and Pippa, a one year old black lab. Dublin even shares my bed at night. What I love most about animals is that as long as you are kind and loving towards them they will love you no matter what you do. For me animals have always been a source of comfort, they will come curl up with you when you're sad or start goofing off to make you laugh. I am a very kind, loving person who enjoys spending time with any animal and always tries to make the pets I care for as happy as possible.
